A DWI/DUI Arrest Will Result in Your Driving Privileges Being Revoked

If you are arrested for DWI/DUI, your license will be revoked. The length of the revocation depends upon factors such as your blood-alcohol concentration at the time of your arrest, whether you have prior impaired driving convictions or revocations, whether you had children under the age of 16 in the vehicle at the time of your arrest, and whether any injuries occurred as a result of your impaired-driving conduct.

How Do Judicial Elections Work?

This year is somewhat odd in terms of district court judicial elections. Typically, district court judges run for election without challenge. Prior to this year, the last contested district court judicial election in the Third Judicial District was in 2008. The Third Judicial District encompasses the following counties: Olmsted, Dodge, Fillmore, Winona, Wabasha, Steele, Rice, Freeborn, Houston, Waseca, and Mower.
